ATLAS V1
The Sentinel and Redbare both featured one of the most reliable arrays of 02, HP and C02 sensors,
along with a second redundant dive computer, giving their divers a second layer of security.
These features have been adapted and reproduced on the Atlas.
When redesigning the Redbare, one of our priorities was to improve the form factor of the unit as well as making it significantly lighter.
This was mainly achieved by using new materials and manufacturing methods, as well as quite a bit of shouting at each... *cough* constructive brainstorming.
Using airospace grade materials and 3D printing we have managed to reduce the overall weight by 10kg and achieved a more compact and rigid design.
When designing the Atlas we wanted to make sure that all the components were top of the line. As a result, The Atlas V1 comes with Nautec Sportline rebreather Valves, Hydpro inflator valves and hoses, and Apeks DB4 first stages. We have also set up the Atlas to run with 3L cylinders as standard, although its still possible to use 2L cylinders. The unit will also be delivered in a tough IP67 rated flight case made by Panaro. Perfect for overseas travel.
The use of a single counter-lung generates more heat in the loop
We have also added a water jacket to the main canister, allowing us to insulate the extra heat that's being generated.
These features allow the Sofnolime 797 (soda lime) to produce a more efficient chemical reaction.
